and some super yummy brownie mix

I made these adorable brownies for some of my favorite people. I put them in little celo bags and then attached the Sass and Belle 'made with love' ribbon. The recipe I use and THE recipe of all the brownie recipes is definitely bombshell nigella's flourless ones with pecans which is listed on her website. And the tin cases are too cute. All in all a lovely, mess free way to give people some well deserved treats! I'm actually going to be making more of these for my best friends baby shower next month. OM NOM NOM!

So I finally bought a sticker machine, I have been meaning to get one for yonks! I got a Xyron 500 and it works a treat! Definitely a crafting must. I upcycled my old Beetles poster and heres how it turned out. Those young heart throbs!

The ring by No Milk Today

Oh the love! I purchased this beauty on etsy and am truly inspired to start making new things. Simply made in polymer clay the texture and colours are beautiful. I am going to find it hard to keep away from this shop! Luckily her items sell like hot cakes and she currently has nothing listed right now or I would be buying left right and center and it would turn into a big mess and I'd lose my house, my wife and my dogs but I'd be sporting some geometrical jewellery like you never did see! I mean not a knuckle bare! Ok slight exaggeration on...pretty much everything that was just said and my last cv but totally necessary for you get my point, it's an addiction!

The Fox that stands upright with human clothes

A few months ago a friend of mine told me a story about her friend who was driving back from a another friends house in the country side, oh how lovely and scenic! Until she glanced across and to her unfathomable horror she saw a fox running by the side of the car....not scary you say? Well it was running on it’s hind legs! She screamed and drove off as quickly as her little banger of a car would permit.

It’s really one of those stories thats so fantastical that it really makes you think; was she crazy? Could it be true? Was it a little demon fox? Should she have stopped to for a cuppa and friendly chat! etc etc. Whatever you think, it definitely inspired me to do a quick doodle! And voila! The fox that stands upright with human clothes! I figured if he could stand upright he could also sport some dashing threads and a little dickie bow too!

I went home a few weeks ago to see my parents which generally involves eating lots of naughty food, watching too much tv, seeing the girls, and then eating some more. In between said sloth moments my doggie charlie did his best to be as mischievous as always; eating my food, and continuously stealing my seat. It felt like some sort of american high school canteen moment. I mean, who does this pooch think he is! And all he had to do was make his eyes a bit droopy and glazed and all of a sudden I was squishing his face and patting his head for being such a good boy! How can a creature manage to be so annoying and adorable at the same time. The talent! So here you have it...a charlie inspired drawing. I didn’t want to edit the lines on photoshop like I often do, I wanted to keep this a doodle, raw and not faffed with. And nothing says I’m sorry like a yellow dogs face!

My friend is moving across the pond to the land of plenty and all that! So I thought I would get her some measuring cups as they aren’t into using grams like us brits. I began to look online for cute cups and I found these bad boys! Talk about baking in style! She may actually have to prize the box from my hands as I’m starting to think maybe I will appreciate these more...I mean so what if I don’t measure in cups... I could store things in them! Oh dear...

Happy valentines day! I Hope that anybody who comes across this page will be having a love filled day. Unfortunately me and my boyfriend will be celebrating valentines day a bit later then everyone else as he’s away at the moment. Junk in the trunk

recently I’ve been going to this junk shop called craft, more like a treasure shop really as it’s one of a dying breed of junk stores that houses those real gems, and at a reasonable little price! So, since discovering said place naturally I have been snapping up the good stuff! I came across a huge pile of old music sheets, most of which were damaged and had pages missing. And I’m all about the upcycling so what a great new project!

It’s only a few days till Valentines day so I’ve been making bunting out of oragami music hearts and candy cane bakers twine! Pictures to follow

So with all the cheer from christmas and new year it seems that it’s not over! My boyfriend just had a birthday and is now an old man! This is one of my new designs, drawn on paper then digitally edited. Prints and birthday cards will soon be available on my etsy shop
